Political commentator, retired Army lieutenant colonel and former U.S. representative, Allen West will speak during the La Plata County Republicans Lincoln Day Dinner and Republican Round-up, which begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Sky Ute Downs, 200 Colorado Highway 151.
Four-hundred tickets are available for the speech and dinner, and only a few remain, said Colton Black, vice chairman of La Plata County Republicans. Tickets for the dinner and speech are $80. Tickets for the speech are $40. The event is the main fundraiser for the La Plata County Republicans.
