Alternative Horizons to hold volunteer training

Alternative Horizons is a nonprofit service agency providing support to survivors of domestic violence in La Plata and San Juan counties. Alternative Horizons is seeking Volunteer Advocates to staff its 24-hour hotline. The Volunteer Advocate Training will be held Nov. 3 and 4. Bi-lingual and male volunteers are especially needed.
