Don’t let anybody tell you different; Gene Fisher is the best person to represent District 3 on the LPEA board. Mr. Fisher is a degreed engineer and worked in power generation worldwide before moving to Durango. In Durango, he has worked closely with LPEA on many projects and is well respected by the LPEA staff. He is very knowledgeable about the LPEA power grid and power generation. The fact that he has built a solar farm on top of his business, Armadillo Storage, demonstrates his commitment to alternative power.
Mr. Fisher strongly supports a sensible, orderly, well-researched transition to renewables. When he is elected, he will work with LPEA staff to expedite the process.
