50 years ago: A fire did heavy damage to the home of Mrs. A.L. Soens when an overheated panel heater caught flame and burned up the wall to the ceiling, into the attic and through the roof.

25 years ago: Someone threw eggs at a house and destroyed a mailbox at 65 Windgate Lane.
