75 years ago: A total of 120 young draftees from Durango marched down Main Avenue to the railroad depot to board a train that would take them to Pueblo for induction into the army.
50 years ago: Three people were injured in a car crash on Highway 172 one mile west of Oxford. The car went off the right side of the road, swerved back onto the pavement, drifted into the left-lane shoulder, swerved back into the right lane and flipped over onto its top.
25 years ago: Two men were caught defecating in a stairwell in the 900 block of Narrow Gauge Avenue and chased off by police officers.
