50 years ago: Mrs. Roger Ptolemy, Mrs. Harold Ritter and Mrs. Chain Healy will represent the Durango Art Association on the Fine Arts Council, a newly formed organization to further culture in Durango. The Art Gallery in the Strater Hotel Arcade will open Nov. 28 and stay open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Christmas. Crafts and hand work will be displayed as well as paintings.
