75 YEARS AGO: “Durango library one of best in Colorado: One of the state’s best libraries is the Durango Public Library. Only one library in Denver and one in Colorado Springs have a greater variety of books. Grand Junction has a fine new building, but has not yet built up a collection of literary material to equal Durango’s.”
