75 years ago: “As an outgrowth of the peace officers training school held in Durango, an organization was formed to be known as the San Juan Peace Officers Association. The purposes are to foster better acquaintanceship among the officers of this section, and to hold regular meetings.”
50 years ago: MESA VERDE – “Mesa Verde National Park, in another record year, played host to 325,306 persons in 1963, 63,056 more than in 1962.”
