50 years ago: Florida Mesa – “The accident that sent Sherman Tuttle to community hospital was the worst thing to happen on the mesa in some time. Tuttle was starting an emery stone, motor driven, when the stone flew apart and one piece struck him on the side of his face. His glasses were broken and his face was badly cut. He lost one eye in the accident also.”

25 years ago: “Window shot out of trailer parked on 2400 block of Arroyo Drive, reported at 1:39 p.m. Damage estimated at $100.”
