50 years ago: A “rash of thefts” were reported in the Dolores area, including a 300-pound white-faced steer, four tires and wheels from a tandem trailer, fifty gallons of gasoline and miscellaneous tools.
25 years ago: Two men “blasted” a pedestrian with a high-powered water gun and drove away in a brown truck, laughing. The victim, a woman, was “winded” by the water pressure.
