75 years ago: The Rural Electric Association closed down the Bayfield Light and Power plant to save an estimated 150 gallons of fuel oil per day.

50 years ago: The Air Force Officer Selection Team visited Fort Lewis College to give examinations to seniors who were interested in active duty.

25 years ago: A man arrived at the police department to report an intoxicated man who was passed out in the bed of his truck. Police took the man to Detox.
