75 years ago: Charles Stilwell of Burns National Bank received a request from Edgar Levy to locate one of the two varieties of “slugs” issued by the old Durango Railway and Realty company.
50 years ago: Kim Moore won “top honors” in the girls’ division of an Easter egg decoration contest, and her brother, Galen, won second place in the boys’ division.
25 years ago: A $4,000 diamond tennis bracelet was left at Durango Sports Club and put in lost-and-found. It was missing by the time the owner called about it.
