25 years ago: “A time capsule placed in the cornerstone at the First Presbyterian Church during its construction 100 years ago was opened before a large crowd. Among the contents were old Durango Heralds, Presbyterian banners, a title for two lots (for $500) from First National Bank and a Bible. A new time capsule will take the place of the old one.”
