50 Years Ago: “The excellent skiing conditions and four inches of fresh snow at Purgatory Resort caused 1,700 people to flock to the slopes over the weekend.”
25 years ago: Someone reported kids throwing snowballs at passing cars on the 600 block of Sixth Street. Police were unable to locate the suspects.
