Third annual event benefiting local humane societies
Lara Branca’s oil painting “Water Between” will be available for sale at the Animal Art Works Beauties and Beasties show on Saturday.
Frances Wisner’s acrylic painting “Blue Jay” will be on display at the Beauties and Beasties show.
The ink wash piece “Flying Crow” is one of Laura Hamilton’s works that will be on display at the Beauties and Beasties show at the Farm Bistro.
The Farm Bistro will host the third annual Animal Art Works exhibit, with proceeds benefiting local animals in need.
The “Beauties and Beasties” show Saturday will feature critter-themed pieces by regional artists, all for sale between $90 and $250. The sale will benefit the local Blackhat and For Pets’ Sake humane societies.
The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the restaurant, 34 W. Main St., and admission costs $10 per person.
