The public is invited to an exhibition of learning for Animas High School sophomores from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.
Students in Dan Thurber’s math 2 and Summer Sanford’s biology classes will present original research they have conducted examining how human behavior affects plant growth. Students conducted statistical analysis as part of their studies, looking at various factors that might positively impact plant growth with an eye toward developing sustainable practices for a changing planet.
