Animas High School’s largest fundraising event of the year, the second annual Osprey Games, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Henry Strater Theatre, 699 Main Ave.
Teams of students and teachers will face off in this game-show-style competition to celebrate the school and raise money needed to keep it thriving.
There will be live music from students and staff members, a showcase of student work, prize drawings and door prizes (including Broncos tickets and Purgatory Power Cards), plentiful appetizers and a cash bar.
All are welcome at this free event, which will include multiple opportunities to support the school throughout the evening. Dress is “game-show fancy” attire.
The event is possible because of contributions from lead sponsor Alpine Bank and contributing sponsors Jaynes Corp., Fort Lewis College, The Payroll Department and Durango Motor Co. All money raised will go directly to supporting innovative programs for students.
