Students will hold an all-school exhibition from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Animas High School, 271 Twin Buttes Ave.
Students will display their project-based learning from the school year, which includes: design prototypes that explore sustainable outdoor classroom spaces; food demonstrations that illustrate the chemistry of cooking; cultural showcases about the Dominican Republic and Cuba that use developing Spanish-speaking skills; senior project TED talks and college-level thesis papers that address student-driven research; a maker-space that showcases student designs of miniature Tesla coils, electronics projects and hydraulic arms; model United Nations speeches about climate change solutions; and explorations about gun policies and how they connect to violence and safety.
