Ed Horvat, the author of “Images of America: La Plata County,” will speak about his new book containing more than 200 images of the county at 1 p.m. July 13 at the museum, 3065 West Second Ave.
Horvat writes the column “And the West is History,” that appears in The Durango Herald every week. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the museum, and Horvat will be available to sign them.
The event will be held live outside at the Museum and on Zoom. There is no charge for the event, which will be recorded.
