Southwest Colorado Genealogical Society will host a presentation by Ruth Lambert, from San Juan Mountains Association, at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 9, at the Animas Museum, 3065 West Second Ave.
The study focuses on three Hispano cemeteries at the Gato-Pagosa junction, Juanita and Trujillo, along the San Juan River. Lambert will assemble existing cemetery information, conduct additional research and perform field work to photograph, map and document the cemeteries and headstones.
