A new exhibit that explores how World War I influenced Durango and La Plata County will open at 4 p.m. on Flag Day, June 14, at the Animas Museum, 3065 West Second Ave.
The exhibit will feature information about the local draft, send-off parades, letters from camp, patriotic music and “wheatless” recipes used during the war.
