The Animas River Trail will be closed at the pedestrian bridge south of Santa Rita Park because of repairs on a city water line. Construction is scheduled to commence on Monday at 8 a.m. and the trail is scheduled to remain closed until end of day Wednesday.
Trail users may detour from the north side of the pedestrian bridge south of Santa Rita Park to the dirt trail on the Highway 3 side of the Animas River to the pedestrian bridge at Cundiff Park.
