To ensure public safety during landscaping and excavation work, a section of the Animas River Trail will be detoured onto the soft surface trail on the west side, or river side, of the concrete trail from Monday, July 20, to July 31.
Landscaping and excavation work will occur later this month between the new Administration Building at Santa Rita Water Reclamation Facility and the Animas River Trail.
Trail closure and detour signage will be posted, and trail users are asked to use caution when traveling near the closed section of trail and construction area.
