Animas Valley Action Coalition will meet from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave., to discuss the Roberts Village Camp Durango Proposal.
The proposal is for 277 total sites, 137 for luxury motor homes and 140 cabins. The development will be on more than four acres on Trimble Lane near County Road 250 at the former gravel pit.
The coalitions goal is to protect the Animas Valley’s rural lands, historic character, traffic, water, environment, fire response, cyclists, pedestrians, wildlife and more.
