Animas Valley Grange, 7271 County Road 203, will host an apple cider pressing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 1).
The event is free and open to the public. Participants are asked to bring their own apples and containers for the cider. There will be experts on hand to help with the press. Donated apples or pears in good condition are welcome until noon. Croquet and other yard games will also be set up.
