Animas Valley Grange will host a talk by Colorado Agriculture Commissioner Kate Greenberg as part of its Speakers Series from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday via Zoom.
Greenberg has worked in agriculture for more than 12 years. Before her appointment, she was the western program director for the National Young Farmers Coalition, where she established and grew the organization’s presence and membership across the West. Her work focused on farmland affordability, agricultural education, protecting water for agriculture and expanding access to capital and credit for young and beginning producers.
