DOLORES – Bust up the snow-shoveling winter blues at the Dolores Chamber Annual Spring Banquet and Community Celebration Awards Ceremony March 30.
The locals’ favorite costume party will be held at the Dolores Community Center, and the theme this year is “Shamrocked, a Leprechaun’s Ball.”
It will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktail hour featuring loud toasts, door prizes, photo ops and a silent auction.
At 7 p.m., a catered dinner will be served, then at 7:45 p.m. a professional auctioneer will start the bidding on auction items. Proceeds go into a scholarship fund for local students.
The celebration will then kick up a notch with the announcement of Business and Citizen of the Year Awards for 2018..
Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory.
Tickets are $30 or $50 for a couple. To buy tickets and to donate to the silent auction, visit the Dolores Chamber website.
