The 12th Annual Apple Days festival will take place Oct. 10 at Durango Farmers Market.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival will be different than the usual Buckley Park Festival.
The Good Food Collective will host a series of small group harvests around the community through Thursday. Fruit will then be taken to a local cider press and turned into fresh-pressed cider that may be purchased Oct. 10 at the Apple Days Booth at the farmers market. Also featured will be hand-crank cider pressing, hard cider tastings and family-friendly apple activities.
Preorder cider and register for group harvests online at www.goodfoodcollective.org/apple-days.
