Please don’t stop the syndicated columnists in the printed paper. They’ve been one of the best features, something you can’t get anywhere else. Much of the rest of the political news in the paper is not as special, as it is often covered in more detail on National Public Radio.

I guess you’re stuck with all the letters to the editor, a few of which are worth reading. Most of them are repetitive opinions that don’t add anything to what others have already said. My feeling is they’ve been taking up too much of the editorial page lately. The humor seems to have gone out of them too. I’m rooting for you. It’s nice to have the paper in your hands in the morning and take your time over it. I’ve saved many of the syndicated columnist articles.
