Each student is expected to bring their own sewing machine and accessories to the second, third and fourth class. It may be possible to use a loaner sewing machine; ask about this directly at first class. Sewing homework is entrusted to each student so progress on the quilt can be attained. There is no direct fee for this class, but you will need to buy your own supplies. Preregistration required. For more information or to register, contact the library at 884-2222, ext. 1.

Mondays, 9-10 a.m.: Mostly Yin Yoga. Targets the connective tissue, which are the joints, bones and ligaments. We remain in many of the poses longer than in a traditional yoga class, which can be challenging for our body as well as our mind. The class may be slower paced, but it gives our mind time to quiet down, our breath to soften and our connective tissue to be stimulated. We will experience the balance between movement and stillness. Tools such as blocks and blankets are encouraged for this class. This class is accessible for all levels. We will experience the balance between movement and stillness.

Wednesdays, 8-9 a.m.: Yoga Flow. Yoga Flow lets us move dynamically from one posture to another. We create a meditative state with the flow and rhythm of our breath and the warming, lengthening and strengthening of our muscles in all the movements of our bodies.
