Nau
The Arc of Colorado recognized Nathan Nau for his service to the Durango community at its Nov. 11 annual meeting.
Nau is employed by Southwest Center for Independence as a youth independent living specialist and teaches self-advocacy skills and helps young people with disabilities and their families gain access to college.
Martha Mason of Southwest Center for Independence nominated him for the award, and he traveled to Denver with help from Liz Mora of The Arc of Southwest Colorado.
