The San Juan Basin Archaeological Society will host a presentation at 7 p.m. Jan. 11 in the Lyceum at Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive, and on Zoom.
At 6:30 p.m., there will be social time, then after a brief business meeting, Gretchen Gürtler, director of museums at Ghost Ranch will present “Unique Artifacts of the Gallina Culture.”

Gürtler has conducted field research in paleontology and anthropology for institutions of higher education for over 16 years. She received a National Science Foundation Fellowship to complete her graduate degree at Texas Tech University, focusing on paleontological research.
