Kudos to Brianna Henderson, student at Ignacio Middle School for choosing the Armenian genocide as her History Day project and qualifying to compete at state (Herald, March 24).
Also thanks to her parents and teachers for encouraging her to study a subject that, although 100 years old, remains in the hearts of Armenians everywhere as the first genocide of the 20th century. I wish her success at state.
