Whether you like the art or not at the 160/550 interchange is subjective. What bothers me is in spite of the “Buy Local” push, the Durango Public Arts Commission passed over two local teams and spent $28,000 in Greeley, Penn. Perhaps the commission members thought the money was staying in state, and Tom Holmes was from Greeley, Colo.
