Studio & launches arts collective

Studio & is offering its second season of CSArt program for this year.

CSArt is modeled after the nationally popular Community Supported Agriculture program that invites participants to invest in a season’s worth of locally grown produce. With CSArt, stockholders invest in locally produced art.

Shares are $300 each. The program includes eight artists who will each provide artwork for the program. Shareholders will receive eight pieces or art, picked up two at a time at four pick-up events through the CSArt season. This year, there are 40 shares available.

This year’s artists include Shay Lopez, Minna Jain, Nathan Schmidt, Lisa Self, Hailey King, Dakotah Andreatta, Lisa Mackey and Erin Lewis. The artwork they have created includes single-edition paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography and jewelry.
