Thursday at Animas City Theatre: MarchFourth
MarchFourth Marching Band, a Portland, Oregon, ensemble that crowds the stage with musicians, a host of instruments and performers like fire-dancers, will play at 9 p.m. Thursday at the Animas City Theatre, 128 E. College Drive.
With vintage marching band uniforms, a five-piece percussion corps and stilt-walkers, MarchFourth is most musical circus than marching band.

Celtic music workshop is Thursday at Katzin
Flutist Khara Wolf, Mandolin and guitar player Terry Double and the Durango Celtic Slow Session will host a free Celtic music performance and workshop from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Katzin Music, 1316 Main Ave.
All instruments and levels are welcome. The event will feature an informal performance and discussion followed by an introductory workshop. Participants are welcome to bring instruments.
