Performing arts workshops continue
The Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave., announces the Creede Repertory Theatre Workshop Series with a Improv Comedy Workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday with Jessica Jackson, artistic director of Creede Repertory Theatre.
This class is perfect for the novice or professional actor. Participants will explore the fundamentals of what makes great improv and the techniques that not only build a successful Chicago-style long form improv but also create compelling and hilarious scenes.

The center’s adult performing arts Saturday Series features theatre specialists and working artist instructors teaching a range of performing arts techniques. Each Saturday Series workshop costs $34 for center members and $40 for nonmembers and runs Saturdays in October and November.
