Hot Buttered Rum: More than a cocktail
Hot Buttered Rum, a San Francisco five-piece band that plays Americana-based bluegrass fusion, will perform Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at the Animas City Theatre, 128 E. College Drive.
The band, which is comprised of five of musician friends, performs a mix of sing-along bluegrass, roadhouse rock and foot-stomping ballads. Their most recent album, “Hot Buttered Rum,” was released at the end of May.

Elder Grown to play Concert in the Park
Local band Elder Grown will play this week’s free Concert in the Park on Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Buckley Park, 1200 block of Main Avenue.
Elder Grown plays a mix of rock, funk and reggae. The band, which has roots in Pagosa Springs, was formed by brothers Josh, John and Paul Hoffman, who play guitar, bass, keyboard and percussion and sing. Joining the brothers are Sam Kelly and Brian Stoneback on saxophone, Grace Wagner on violin, Josh Dikes on keyboard, guitar and vocals and James Mirabal on various instruments. With a full stage of musicians and an arsenal of instruments, Elder Grown churns out a high-energy live performance.

Led Zeppelin tribute band coming to ACT
“Good Times, Bad Times,” “Whole Lotta Love,” “Tangerine” and other classic songs of iconic rock band Led Zeppelin will come to Durango on Thursday, care of tribute band Zoso.
The band, which bills itself as “The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience,” will play a show at 9 p.m. at the Animas City Theatre, 128 E. College Drive.
Zoso formed in 1995 and features Matt Jernigan as Robert Plant, John McDaniel as Jimmy Page, Adam Sandling as John Paul Jones and Greg Thompson as John Bonham.
