The First Thursdays Art Walk will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday around downtown Durango. The walk celebrates contemporary art and artists in galleries and alternative art spaces in downtown Durango.

Free salsa lessons to be held during Art Walk
As part of the First Thursdays Art Walk, Durango Arts Center will host free salsa dance lessons on Thursday. The Salsera Blanca Social Club lessons will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the center, 802 East Second Ave.

James Ranch to host summer celebration
James Ranch will kick off its summer season with a celebration Saturday at the terraces at the ranch. Musician Annie Brooks will perform from 12 to 3 p.m., Ruby Balloon will make balloon animals, and there will be multiple craft stations for kids. The Harvest Grill will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
