Pagosa bluegrass festival tickets are on sale
Tickets are now on sale at early-bird prices for the 11th annual Pagosa Folk ‘N Bluegrass festival, taking place from June 3 to June 5 in Pagosa Springs.
This year’s music lineup includes: Aoife O’Donovan, Eileen Ivers, Rob Ikes and Trey Hensley, Caravan of Thieves, Tony Furtado band, Jon Stickley Trio, Lonely Heartstrings Band, Lil Smokies, The Railsplitters, Steep Ravine, Tallgrass, Finders and Youngberg, Jacob Groopman and Melody Walker, and Robin Davis Duo.

‘Earthly Presence’ show is now open
“Earthly Presence,” a show by Laura Bruzzese and Carol Salomon, can now be seen at Sorrel Sky Gallery, 828 Main Ave. The show continues through May.

Known for music that blends folk, jazz, country, blues, rock and Texas swing with wit and satire, Robert Earl Keen writes about the West from his soul, blending the fugitive spirit with a taqueria reality.

Durango Art Center announces events
The Durango Arts Center announces the following events:
DAC Brown Bag Lunch Lectures “War, Oligarchy and the American People,” an hourlong lunchtime discussion with Jeff Madeen, whose exhibition, “Obedience, Conformity, Apathy ... It’s All Good,” is on display at DAC, will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday and is free.
Registration is open for the next workshops in the Durango Arts Center’s Saturday Series, “ACTING: Inside Out/Outside In – The Feedback Loop” with Mona Wood-Patterson from 10:30 a.m. to noon and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 19. This class allows participants to explore the body/emotion connection with a dynamic approach that will enable them to free up both body and emotion. The opening reception of the 22nd annual Creativity Festivity, a celebration of learning through the arts, will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. April 7. The festivity will be held from April 5 to April 16. This year’s Creativity Festivity theme is “Designing the Future” and celebrates children’s imaginative work in art, theatre, poetry and music. Throughout the two-week celebration, DAC will host events and opportunities for local youth to share their work with the greater arts community in Durango. Children’s creative work will be on display as a feature exhibit in the Barbara Conrad Gallery.
Four performances on Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. at 7 p.m. April 8 and April 9 and two special after-school outreach performances will take place at 4:30 p.m. April 11 and April 12, with tickets available at reduced cost.
