A theater workshop for ages 18 and older, “The Art of Storytelling” with Sarah Syverson and Tom Yoder, will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave.
Participants will explore storytelling techniques, including story arcs, how to use the five senses for story development and how to find an authentic voice; and are asked to bring a pen, paper and a willingness to share a true story.
Cost is $50 for members and $56 for nonmembers.
