Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave., will host the following events:
The 3-dimensional exhibit, “Wunderkammers,” by Denver artist Alicia Bailey, opening reception will be 5 to 7 p.m. on May 5.
A “Rigid Page Book” workshop with Alicia Baily will be held 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 6 and 7. Cost is $170 for members and $195 for nonmembers.
A playwriting workshop with Peter Gil-Sheridan, to teach participants how to write a short play based on life experience, will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 20, scheduled to continue through June 1. Cost is $37 for members and $42 for nonmembers.
Registration is now open for summer camps that include a variety of performing- and visual- arts classes, and need-based scholarships are available.
