Atmos Energy will conduct a series of upgrades to natural gas pipelines in city streets, including pipelines that connect to meters for residents, starting Monday, according to Jennifer Altieri, director of public affairs at Atmos.
“Residents can expect to see construction signs throughout their neighborhood and door hangers on their homes notifying them of any activity that is about to take place,” said Altieri. “We are working closely with Durango city officials and our local fire departments to minimize disruption that may accompany these upgrades.”
Pipeline upgrades are expected to continue through June.
