Residents were without coverage for eight days

After more than a week without cellphone service, AT&T customers in Vallecito Lake have had their coverage restored.
According to a statement from an AT&T spokesperson, coverage was restored just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
“We’ve restored services for customers in the Vallecito Lake, Colorado, area following our scheduled maintenance,” the spokesperson said in an email to The Durango Herald.
Residents in Vallecito Lake who buy into the AT&T network reported more than a week without cellphone service, disrupting business and personal activities.
