As a result, the avalanche danger in the area was “considerable” as of Tuesday night, according to the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.
Motorists traveling north and south can expect one-hour intermittent delays from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday while crews trigger potential snowslides and then clear the road, according to a news release from CDOT.
