Avalanche, Sharks set to open second-round series

After Colorado Avalanche goaltender Phillip Grubauer silenced Johnny Gaudreau and the Calgary Flames, he and the Avalanche will try to do the same in the second round to the San Jose Sharks.

BOTTOM LINE: The San Jose Sharks host the Colorado Avalanche in game one of the Western Conference second round. The teams meet Friday for the fourth time this season. San Jose went 3-0 against Colorado during the regular season.
