Backcountry Experience will host a reception for outdoor-industry entrepreneurs in the Durango area at 6 p.m. Nov. 2 at Crow’s Closet, 750 Main Ave.
The event will feature presentations from Jill Schuman of eNZees Foot Soother (Durango), Jenny Vierling of Tailwind Nutrition (Bayfield), Timm Smith of Voormi (Pagosa Springs) and Bryant AuCoin of Sticker Art (Durango).
In 2017, eNZees Foot Soother and Voormi received Editors’ Choice awards from Backpacker Magazine, and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade added Tailwind Nutrition to its “Colorado Companies to Watch” list. Sticker Art works with illustrators to produce outdoor-themed stickers, which can be seen all over Durango on cars, bikes, water bottles, etc.
