Ballet Durango recently opened studios at 225 East Eighth Ave., and an open house will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sept. 22 at the new location.
Director Frances Rosser Taylor, with 35 years of experience teaching ballet, opened Ballet Durango six years ago, which offered ballet, lyrical, modern and pre-ballet. With the new space, the business now offers yoga with Bif Hilliard, and “Mommy and Me” and “Fairytale Ballet” with Michele Rothberg, in addition to the original classes.
