There will be a balloon glow starting at 6 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 15) in the 500 block of Main Avenue in Durango.
To see the balloons inflate, arrive around 6 p.m. The glow will start at about 6:30 p.m., weather permitting. Visitors will be able to be up close to see the balloon pilots in action. There will also be “candlesticks,” which are the balloon basket and burners, without the balloon. Pilots will let kids get in the basket and pull the burner.
The balloons will come down around 7:30 p.m. The schedule is subject to change.
