The League of Women Voters of La Plata County will sponsor a Local Ballot Issues Forum from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Durango City Hall Council Chambers, 949 East Second Ave.
The forum will include:
Discussion of ballot issue 1A, a tax increase for road and bridges in La Plata County.Discussion of ballot issue 1B, a property tax increase for a Durango-La Plata County Airport terminal.Discussion of ballot issue 3A, a tax increase for Durango School District 9-R.The three questions will be decided in the Nov. 8 election.
